INCONEL X750 SHEET - AMS 5567 - UNS N07750 ALLOY Fastener
Inconel® X750 is a nickel chromium alloy made precipitation hardenable by the additions of Titanium and aluminum. This nickel alloy exhibits high creep-rupture strength at elevated temperatures to about 130.0°F (700°C). It also has excellent properties down to cryogenic temperatures. The alloy maintains high strength at high temperature, resists corrosion and has good oxidation resistance at up to 1300°F. Inconel X 750 is resistant to chemical corrosion, showing resistance to a wide variety of industrial corrosives under both oxidizing and reducing conditions. This alloy also has excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking in the fully age hardened condition. This Inconel alloy can be strengthened by precipitation treating after hot or cold working or by precipitation hardening after equalizing or solution treating. X-750 is used in applications such as gas turbines, rocket engine thrust chambers, as well as springs & fasteners where it operates from cryogenic temperatures to 1300°F.

INCONEL X-750 HEAT TREATMENT
Inconel X750 can be heat treated.
Our highly experienced team of metallurgists and manufacturing experts can provide details on heat treatment of Alloy X750. Contact a specialist who can answer any technical questions you may have about this alloy, its manufacturability, and fit for your application.
CORROSION RESISTANCE OF INCONEL X 750
Inconel X-750 is resistant to a wide variety of industrial corrosives under both oxidizing and reducing conditions. This alloy also exhibits high resistance to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking even in the fully precipitation hardened condition.
WELDING INCONEL X750
Nickel chromium based Inconel X-750 should be welded in the stress-equalized condition, 1625°F (885°C) heat treatment, and solution treated and age hardened after welding has been completed. If this is not practical, the Nickel alloy should be welded in the solution-treated condition and age hardened after welding with or without the inclusion of a short-period stress-relieving treatment at 1625°F. Weld joints, because of softening of the alloy within the heat-affected zone, should be located where lower creep properties are required.
